He was present at its construction site on a daily basis. Al is an honory life member of the JCC Board of Directors

Ann was a renowned artist.  Besides being
an accomplished pianist she was a remarkable artist whose created sculptures in wood, stone, marble and bronze.  Her works were exhibited in private collections in North Carolina, Vermont, New York, and Pennsylvania.  Ann was the recipient of the Red Cross Mary Benjamin award for her many hours of volunteering.

Both Al and Ann were well known in the field of the arts and active in the Wilkes – Sordoni Art Gallery and Everhart Museum of Scranton.
