When I accepted the role of President of the Board of JFS two years ago, the majority of my family and friends were very supportive and proud of me.  There were, however, those few individuals whose first comments were, “Why?  Aren’t you busy enough?  Don’t you just want to sit back and enjoy your retirement?

JFSNEPA Celebrates 100th Annual Meeting

Jewish Family Service of Northeastern Pennsylvania (JFSNEPA) celebrated their 100th Annual Meeting on June 16, 2015.  The meeting was held at The Colonnade in Scranton, PA from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.  The evening was attended by over 125 people who enjoyed light Kosher fare and music from the Doug Smith Trio.  Over $36,000 was raised
